Romantic 19th Century Ruby and Diamond heart pendant and chain.19 rubies approx 4.75 cts and 21 old-brilliant-cut diamonds .60 ct to heart. Ruby and diamond pendant loop. Claw setting. Heart measures 2.3cm. Yellow gold chain measures 41cm long.The rubies are set in yellow - probably 18ct and the diamonds are set in white (silver). It is a very classic style of manufacture for this period of jewellery. The yellow chain has been tested as 18ct is probably a later addition.This beautiful, hand made heart pendant has stunning all round workmanship. CI
