This beautiful vintage Boucheron compact decorated with an openwork motif depicting butterflies amongst flowering branches, set with six small cabochon rubies, the interior fitted with a mirror and a compartment for powder, signed Boucheron London, numbered 875012, with French assay and workshop marks Made in France Circa 1940. This gorgeous rectangular compact, silver with openwork butterflies and flowers in engraved gold and pierced on the bottom mirror, punctuated with cabochon rubies, yellow gold clasp measures 7.5 x 5.7x 1.2 cm.
